Vatican at night

I took this picture in 2007 late night on Good Friday, after the services were finished and the more than 250,000 people had left the Saint Peter’s square and the plaza was projecting a calm image. It was was shot with my camera set up as a “night frame”.
This was my only visit to Italy and to the Vatican, Rome and other italian destinations. It was absolutely spectacular. Need to go back and learn more about the history and enjoy the beauty of the city and the country.
